Blue & Yellow

Blue & Yellow is an upcoming bistro and patisserie shop in Gangtok, India. The client was inspired by a song by the same name about colours and emotions.

My major challenge while designing the logo was to give it a happy vibe and establish a connection between the patisserie's name and the process of baking.

I developed a custom hand-written font which makes up the main typographical logo, and the graphics designed around it in the menu.

Therefore, I used a bright colour palette of pink, blue and yellow, pairing them with their analogs as a secondary palette.

The illustrations on the menu were further adapted to various packaging materials like wrapping paper, washi tape and stickers.
